An autopsy carried out on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of singer, Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, has confirmed that he drowned.
It was reported earlier that Ifeanyi drowned at his father’s Banana Island home on Monday, October 31. The police who arrested some housekeepers at Davido’s home had disclosed that an autopsy will be carried out to ascertain how the toddler died.
According to a source:
”Though the family members are not saying anything yet because they are still in shock but until anybody says stop, the standard procedure is to conduct an autopsy and we are going to follow that procedure just like in any case of death.”
Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, has now shared the autopsy result.
Speaking to a Punch correspondents on Saturday, November 5, Hundeyin said;
”Autopsy has been concluded. It confirms the boy Ifeanyi, drowned.”
