Afrobeat Giant, Burna Boy is set to perform at the 2023 Coachella on the 14th of April. According to a source, Burna Boy is reportedly being paid $1.5 million for his Coachella performance.
According to the source, Burna Boy will be paid $1.5 million even though he is not among the headliners. He also recounted how Burna Boy performed at Coachella 2019 but was upset that the font size of his name on the festival poster wasn’t bigger.
Dan Runcie commended Burna Boy for letting go of his headliner mentality and finally making money. This year’s Coachella lineup features two headliners, Bad Bunny and Blackpin who releases majority of their song in non-English.
With Burna Boy being paid $1.5 million, he will be trashing Wizkid’s record. Recall that Wizkid said he was paid $1 million to perform at Rolling Loud Toronto in 2022.
