Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, is set to hold a free for all concert in Lagos State with PVC as the entry ticket, so as to encourage citizens to get their voters card ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The concert is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 11th June, at the Tafawa Balewa square with Falz as the performer. The concert is tagged Youth Vote Mega Concert 2.0.
Many Nigerians has expressed their grievances over the high rate of corruption and insecurity in the country and had proposed that it is time to vote for a credible candidate and not just a party . They are also being encouraged to move from just campaigning on social medias to getting their voters cards.
Falz, an activist who has been using his songs to illustrate the ills going on in the country, had announced that he would be hosting a concert in Lagos.
The singer took to his offical Twitter page to announce this and has urged everyone especially those yet to register to come and do so as there would also be free registration too .
Social media users could not hold their joy back as many took to their handle to hail the rapper, while urging other celebrities to join the campaign too.
