Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag has opened up that he isn’t selling Cristiano Rolando just yet even after their recent clash which saw Rolando storming off Old Trafford before full-time of Manchester United’s Wednesday 2-0 Premier League win over Tottenham.
Addressing a press conference yesterday after reports of Rolando training with the Club’s U-21 after being dropped from Manchester United squad and training ahead of a clash with Chelsea today made headlines.
Erik ten Hag claimed that he does not want to sell Rolando, but refused to confirm if he will return to the squad.
“I count on Cristiano” he said when asked if he thinks Rolando will be there or if he wants to be there for the rest of the season.
The coach however added that he and Rolando will talk first but he does not want him to leave him out of the squad any longer than necessary.
Erik Ten Hag suggested that Rolando’s exclusion won’t be longer than Monday.
