Nicki Minaj has been gearing up for her next album since the beginning of the year. After releasing so many singles like ‘Do we have a problem’ and ‘Bussing’ with Lil Baby, her fans have been waiting for new songs.
It’s four years now since her last studio album and in that time, she revealed some bigger plans to expand her empire.
Among these plans is to own her record label and management company, which she reveled to Joe Budden earlier this year.
Though the singer hasn’t divulged the names of artists she’s working with , it seems like one of the DMV’s brightest stars have officially landed a deal with her. Tate Kobang took to his Instagram where he confirmed that he signed with Nicki Minaj.
He wrote;
”Welp thats cat out the bag”
Yeah I just closed my deal and signed to Nicci as a artist. Damn.”
Nicki first hinted at the signing back In January when she went on Instagram Live and shared a massive shoutout to Tate. “I see you, Tate Kobang . I see you boo boo . It’s about time to announce my record label, y’all.”
