Canadian rapper, singer, and record producer, Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, known professionally as Tory Lanez came through with this lovely song he labeled “Lady of Namek”.
The successor to “Lady of Neptune” from Tory’s third commercial mixtape, Playboy, “Lady of Namek” is the first single to his sixth studio album, Alone at Prom, expected to be released on November 15, 2021.
The single was first teased from Tory, in a now-deleted Instagram story, showing a music video for the track being edited.
On November 10, 2021, Tory encouraged his fans on Instagram that if one of his posts can reach up to 25,000 comments, then Tory will drop the lead single to the album on November 15.
The goal was reached in less than a day. Thanks to all this, on November 11, 2021, Tory revealed on his social media pages that “Lady of Namek” would be officially releasing on November 15, as the album’s lead single.
Finally, the track was later released on November 15, 2021 as promised with production credit from Chaz Jackson & SSJ Mike.
