A video which has gone viral captured Uduak Akpan, the convicted murderer of Iniubong Umoreh, trying to escape after he was sentenced to death.
Recall that Akpan murdered Umoreh, a University of Uyo philosophy graduate, in April 2021.
While waiting to be mobilized for NYSC program, the deceased was looking for work when she came across Akpan.
He pretended to have a position for her. However, when she arrived at his place, Akpan rapped her before killing her.
After being sentenced to death, the murderer made an attempt to flee the court but was quickly apprehended.
