Afrobeat singer, Wizkid has been trending after he revealed in an interview that he doesn’t listen to Rap Music.
Wizkid’s comment didn’t sit well with Nigerian rappers, who took to Twitter and Instagram to drag him for saying Rap is dead and boring. Oladips even made a diss track on TikTok, bashing Wizkid.
In reaction to comments and diss from his colleagues, Wizkid hopped on Snapchat to drag them again. He called all Nigerian rappers ‘Broke Boys’ and laughed at them for assuming he was referring to them when he talked about rappers.
According to Wizkid, the only rappers in Africa are Nasty C, Sarkodie and Black Sherif. He informed the likes of M.I, Vector and Blaqbonez, that he will never talk about them and they should stop talking about him.
