The Nigerian music industry is currently boiling this moment, following the “Rap is Dead” comment by Wizkid in an interview.
Over the past 48 hours, Nigerian rappers have been calling Wizkid out and demanding he apologizes for saying “Rap is Dead”.
Wizkid instead, did the opposite and went ahead to drop more shades. He called all Nigerians rappers “Broke” and laughed at them for assuming he was referring to them in the interview.
YCee had hopped on Twitter to drag Wizkid. He called him out for insulting rappers and fueling the insult with more insult.
He told Wizkid that rappers work the hardest in an industry that doesn’t even favor them and has zero funding support. YCee also threw shades at Wizkid by calling him a “failed Rapper”. In his words:
”Failed rappers always have the most to say about the genre sha.”
